Last call for K&E Early Bird 2027

Hi!

Last week, I was giving a tour.

It was rest hour, right after lunch, kids just hanging around the cabins. Asked one of our campers if he'd explain the daily schedule.

"Sure!" No hesitation.

Kids here love showing off camp. They're proud of it. This guy, Logan, then proceeded to lead the next 20 minutes of the tour.

So off he went. Walked the visiting boy around and answered every question the parents threw at him, honestly better than I could have. Amazing to watch.

Then the activities call played. He stops mid-sentence, yells, "I have to go to cooking!!!" Sprints off.

If that doesn't sum up a kid at camp, I don't know what does.

All in on showing a new family everything he loves about this place. All in on not missing a second of cooking. Fully there for both, and gone the instant the bugle calls.

That's the part you can't put in a brochure. Kids this into where they are.

One quick note before the weekend gets away from us. Today is the last day for early bird registration for Summer 2027, and registering in the window gets you three things.

  1. This year's rate for next summer. Register by tonight and you pay 2026 tuition for Summer 2027. The best rate we'll have all year.
  2. The Year of K&E Gear. Twelve K&E gear-drops over the coming year, one a month. Register now and your camper's in for all of them, with the September drop up next.
  3. Payment, simplified. Pay in full ($800 off half summer, $1,200 off full summer, applied automatically) or put $4,000 down and split the rest into 10 monthly payments, September through June. E-check and ACH are free; credit cards carry 3%.

All of it fully refundable through January 1. Moving now costs you two minutes and nothing else.

Register for Summer 2027

You got this,

Jack

Summer Matters Inspiring confident, kind kids & forever friendships It’s Day 34 of 46 at 7:35 AM. Reveille has just sounded with Scott on the loudspeaker. “Everybody up It’s going to be a beauuuuuuutiful day. Rise and shine.” Breakfast isn’t ready yet, but there are already kids outside of Oak Lodge playing carpetball. Nothing’s scheduled this early. They just wanted to be out there, so they are, while the rest of camp is still waking up. I have a very boring morning routine. Wake up, dust...

Send Kids to Camp Mickey's Kids & The K&E Scholarship Fund Dear Camp Kenwood & Evergreen Community,Greetings from the shores of Eagle Pond! It was so wonderful seeing so many of you at Visiting Day last week! Camp is in full, joyful swing, and you can see the excitement on all of our campers' faces. We definitely aren’t ready to send them home just yet! Today is the day! We are so excited to host the 3rd Annual Mickey’s Kids 5K Run this morning. This event is all about celebrating our camp’s...

Summer Matters Inspiring confident, kind kids & forever friendships I'll let you in on how Visiting Day feels from our side, something I doubt you will hear many (or any) other camps saying out loud. But I will. We sweat it a little. Come on I was nervous as heck. Not because I think things will go super wrong or anything like that. It’s more because we spend all summer building something, and Visiting Day is when we find out whether it’s coming through. It's the day when the most important...
